The Fool's Jam N Scran nights; an indie music 'league' providing and promoting  30 independent artists with high-quality professional live audiovisual recordings and access to industry advice on the night from the monthly pop-ups - plus boss scran from local food vendors. Play for a chance to win the cash prize and other awards presented by a panel of industry professionals at the end of the 12 months - the awards ceremony will feature a performance from a special guest!

The Breakdown:

The pay-what-you-like monthly nights will be hosted on the first Thursday of every month from 6:30, featuring three bands/musicians, each performing a thirty-minute set.   Attendees will be able to donate to vote at the booth for whichever band they love the best and are encouraged to leave a review for the artist too. During their set, the band will introduce their last song which will be recorded and uploaded to The Fools Jam N Scran Channel where there will be an online donate-to-vote system open for 2 weeks from when the video is live (every band will be invested in with the same sponsored social media boost).

A panel of industry judges (yet to be confirmed) will then score these performance videos on a points system for songwriting, arrangement, technical performance and stage presence/engagement. These points will be added together with online votes, in-person votes on the night (worth x3 per vote compared to online votes) and a calculation of fair average views over 30 days for each band's video which will have its own equivalent points system. 

At the end of the 12 months, all bands will be invited back for the awards ceremony featuring a guest performer. 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes will be presented to the top three bands by our judge panel and bonus awards will be presented for various categories such as best guitarist/best dressed etc. All donations from these events will also be put into the prize pot!
